Georgia and her husband, Mike
Riber have traveled the world together for over 25 years,
entertaining thousands with Georgia’s amazing and infectious
voice. Georgia has worked with many world class super-stars and
recorded several albums, including an international dance hit
called, “Come To Me Tonight”.
Georgia has performed
professionally since she was ten years old. In addition to her
incredible voice, she also plays string bass, electric bass
guitar, flute, piano, cello and earned a degree in Classical
Guitar Performance.
Mike plays piano, guitar and bass guitar.
After many years on the road and
in the studio, Georgia and Mike spent seven years working the
cruise lines, ending up as a headline concert vocalist for
Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Crown, NCL and Cunard Lines.
The highlights of these years included the World Cruise stints
on the famous QE2 and the ultra exclusive Sea Goddess ships.
Her shows include pop hits, dance
tunes, standards, oldies and Broadway favorites.
Georgia performs as a soloist with
an orchestra, with Mike as a piano/vocalist duo, or with Mike as
a dance duo with professionally recorded sequences from their
home studio.
In addition to concert and dance
performances, Georgia and Mike also offer the opportunity for a
more intimate, informative and entertaining cabaret format that
features both music and stories about music icons and their
history.
Currently she is showcasing
separate Cabaret shows about the life and music of Karen and
Richard Carpenter, the tragic but amazing story and music of
Patsy Cline, and the decades of music from the incomparable
Barbra Streisand.
Georgia
and Mike reside in Sarasota, Florida.
